The day of our wedding was a beautiful, warm, fall day. We had been praying for beautiful weather since we had been engaged, and thankfully our prayers were answered.
Our ceremony at the temple was not until 1:00 pm, so we were not rushed that morning. I had a hair appointment that morning in Salt Lake which my parents drove me to, and after that we headed to the temple. I wasn't nervous all morning until I got to the temple. That's when it started to hit me that this was really happening, but don't worry-neither one of us backed out :)
Our ceremony was amazing. The room was full of family and friends and we couldn't have asked for anything better.
After the ceremony we officially greeted everyone as Mr and Mrs Rock-Husband and Wife. We also did the traditional family photos on the steps of the temple.
We then had lunch with the two immediate families at El Matador in Bountiful. It was fun to sit and visit with everyone and to have the two families get to know each other better, not to mention the great food!
After our delicious and very filling lunch, we headed to the reception center in Ogden to get ready for round 2 of the wedding day. The reception was held at The White House of Ogden. We did more family photos with everyone dressed up, greeted our guests, cut the cake, Jeff played and sang a song he wrote for me, and we just had an overall great time.
When the reception was all over Jeff and I headed to Salt Lake to start our honeymoon. Jeff surprised me with a gorgeous room at The Anniversary Inn.
