California Road Trip: Part I

We just got back from a great vacation to California. We went to visit Jeff's Grandparents in Sacramento. Grandpa Larson just turned 90 and we were there to celebrate. It was so great to see the Larson side of Jeff's family again, having only met them once before. We had a blast celebrating multiple birthdays with lots of parties, catching up with family, sightseeing, eating, shopping, etc..

Jeff's parents, his brother Jarad & his family, me & Jeff, and Jeff's sister Jenny all were able to drive out to be there.

Somewhere in the dry, boring, vastness that is Nevada

 Largest Thermometer in the world!

Here is Jeff's Mom and Grandpa, the two birthday folks. He looks pretty good for 90 huh? He's doing great too. Still driving, exercising, doing everything he can.

Here's Grandma Larson, she's looking great too!

 The California Larson clan.

We were able to visit the Sacramento Temple while there too.

 A stop at Old Sacramento

Jeff couldn't leave without making a stop at the Train Museum.

Had to get a picture of this! Woohoo for my hometown represented in the museum!

More to come from the rest of our trip!
