Camping in Zion

The first week of May Owen and I were able to go camping in Zion National Park with my family. We used to camp there every Easter when I was little and it had been a long time since we'd done that.  We had a great time and Owen was an amazing camper.  Unfortunately Jeff had to work so he couldn't camp with us, but he was able to spend one day with us.

We tented it, but my parents have a trailer that was just perfect for breakfast when it was still a little cold.

Riding the Shuttle!

The Riverwalk, an easy beautiful walk that is stroller accessible...unless they are working on part of the trail.  We made it though. Owen would have loved to walk the whole way, but it would have taken double the time to do it.

We made it!

Enjoying the campfire!

Day 2
We went through the tunnel and hiked the Overlook.  Owen had a great time riding on Daddy's back.

Relaxing with a movie after a looooong day of hiking

Cooking some delicious dutch oven

Day 3
Weeping Rock and Emerald Pools

Emma and James had fun catching water in a cup and their hats

Owen loved catching it in his hand

We are so blessed to live so close to such a beautiful place!
