Christmas Eve!

We spent Christmas Eve with the Rocks and had a marvelous time! We spent the evening enjoying a delicious progressive dinner. Our first stop was at Jarad & Jennilyn's house. They made scrumptious homemade rolls and salad.
The next stop was at our house where we provided a green bean casserole and Mom and Dad Rock provided chicken and mashed potatoes. I have to give props to Jeff because he made the green bean casserole, a first for him. Way to go babe!
Here's some cute pictures of Ellyn, who provided a lot of the entertainment that night. She sure loved Uncle Jeff's cowboy hat.

Our next stop was at Jenny and Thayne's house where they provided a yummy dessert and we did a cookie exchange. We also spent some time writing notes to Justin and Amanda and to Elder Jamin Rock who where unable to be with us that night. We miss and love them all very much!

Here's my first attempt at truffles that I made for the cookie exchange. They may not be that pretty, but they sure tasted great!

Our last and final stop was out at Mom and Dad Rock's house in New Harmony. We spent the rest of the evening enjoying karaoke and a movie. We watched Shop Around the Corner with Jimmy Stewart. It is the basis for the story of You've Got Mail. All in all it was a great night spent with family and we wouldn't trade it for anything. We love you Rock family!!

Here's a quick peek at mine and Jeff's mad karaoke skills!
