Day of Fun!

Last Saturday (March 14th) we spent the day with friends in Salt Lake. We got up way too early for a Saturday morning, picked up our friends Stephanie and Dane, and started our trip. Our first stop was in Bountiful to go ice skating. I have wanted to go ice skating for years (seriously, years), but there is not one ice rink in all of Southern Utah!!

After skating, we visited some family. Jeff and I dropped in on my sister Laura and niece Emma, while Steph and Dane visited her grandparents. It's amazing how much a baby can grow in one month! Emma is so different since the last time we saw her. She is so smart too! She's also very afraid of Jeff. She used to like him, but she would hardly look and him and if she did, she just stared at him and wouldn't go near him. It was so funny!
After spending a very short hour with the fam we headed to the Bountiful temple.



After the temple, our real reason for going to Salt Lake--Michelle and Taylor's wedding reception. Me, Michelle, and Stephanie were all roommates for a couple of years before the three of us all got married in the last five months. We had a great time celebrating with Michelle and Taylor, dancing, and visiting with good friends.
